In order to compete, the Country Club properties owned or operated by American Golf need to offer more for less.
In addition to delivering great golf, most country clubs now need to promote their non-golf amenities in order to attract new members. Today, country clubs need to be about more than just golf and plaid trousers.
In order to bring in today’s familiy, American Golf invested in making sure their country clubs have something for everyone to do, with activities such as swimming, dining, social events, tennis, and kid-friendly programs.
Then they asked Plumbline to find unique selling options for each individual property in a cost effective way. Our solution is to work within a set framework of four distinct, brand personalities. That way we could create a series of extendable design systems that meet American Golf's budget limitations, while remaining appropriate for the target audience.
Since 2004, Plumbline has been creating these promotional campaigns for American Golf's country clubs. To keep direct mail, print collateral, and print ad campaigns fresh, we evolve them every year and rework the individual messages and offers each quarter. In a single year we produce an average of 40 to 60 individual pieces for each of American Golf’s 54 Country Clubs nationwide.
